There are many ways to give to the Tucson Children’s Museum.

Your donation will support improved exhibits, programs, and activities for the enjoyment and education of children throughout Southern Arizona.

This Summer, Support TCM and Support Play in the Community

The signs of summer abound here at the Tucson Children’s Museum. If hot, sunny days weren’t enough of an indicator, certainly the many smiles and boisterous laughter of kids throughout the Museum have announced summer’s arrival. The Museum is proud to offer children and families in our community a fun, educational and cool place to escape the daily stresses of life.

The current state of the economy has not only affected our visitors, but it has also impacted our organization, which is why I am asking today for your financial support of the Tucson Children’s Museum. While food and shelter are basic needs, so too is a child’s need to play, learn and connect with family. On behalf of our dedicated and passionate staff, I hope you will support the Tucson Children’s Museum.

As an added bonus, for every $50 donation, the Tucson Children’s Museum
will donate 5 free admission passes to local non-profit agencies ¹serving children at risk, in crisis and/or with special needs.

Annual Fundraisers

The Tucson Children's Museum hosts two annual fundraisers, the Family Fun Brunch in the fall and the Father's Day Weekend Golf Classic in late spring. Please watch this page for dates and details.

Consider giving to the Museum through these methods:

• Individual Gifts: Cash, tributes, and securities
• Planned and Deferred Gifts: Annuities, trusts, estates and other assets

Individual Gifts
The most important gift the Museum will ever receive is the one you make today. The Museum depends on the generosity of the people of Southern Arizona to provide us with the support necessary to serve our growing community. Our attendance increased by twenty percent last year! Your gift provides you with a charitable tax deduction in the year you make the gift.

Annual Appeal
Each fall, the Museum’s annual appeal helps provide funds to help the Museum grow and improve. Your annual gift will be acknowledged in the Museum newsletter.

Tributes
Make a donation to the Museum and provide a tribute to a loved one. Gifts made in memory or in recognition of a special person will be recognized in the Museum newsletter.

Marketable Securities: Stocks and Bonds

You benefit with:
• A charitable tax deduction for the fair market value of a security held longer than one year.
• A bypass of capital gains taxes and penalties.

Planned and Deferred Gifts
Support the Tucson Children's Museum during and beyond your lifetime. By including specific language in a will or trust naming the Museum, donors help ensure the future of the Museum’s services and programs in the community, and can further their financial goals. These gifts may provide immediate income and substantial tax savings for the donor.

Bequests
The easiest way to make a planned gift is through your will, revocable trust or retirement plan.

Charitable Remainder Trust
Name the Museum as a recipient of a trust you establish.

Life Estate Agreements
Convey the title of real property, typically a primary residence, to the Museum.

Retirement Plan Assets
Name the Museum as a beneficiary of your retirement plan. Life Insurance Policies Name the Museum as a partial beneficiary or owner of a life insurance policy. You benefit with an applicable charitable tax deduction.
