Hold Your Event At The
Tucson Children’s Museum!
Looking for something different to do for your family reunion, company party, or group meeting? Then treat your guests to an event at the Tucson Children’s Museum! Our historic building and spacious courtyard in downtown Tucson provide a beautiful backdrop for your event, and your guests will have a ball checking out our fun exhibits!
We offer eleven galleries of interactive exhibits including:
- Dinosaur World
- Enchanted Rain Forest
- Art Studio
- Ocean Discovery Center
- Electri-City
... and more.
The Museum’s South Wing also includes two private party rooms, the Fiesta Room and the Birthday Party Room.

The Museum
$200 per hour/2 hour minimum
(Member Rate/$175 per hour)
(includes exclusive use of Museum and Courtyard after regular Museum hours)
The Museum is available for private parties of up to 350 people. Museum rental includes full access to our eleven galleries of fun, interactive exhibits. Instead of hiring entertainment, let our exhibits entertain your guests! Of course, there is plenty of space for strolling musicians, magicians, or other performers if you choose!
The Museum features a galley kitchen for use by your choice of food service provider. Available space for formal dining varies depending upon the Museum’s exhibit schedule, but informal buffets can easily be accommodated in the Fiesta Room or the Museum lobby
Museum Courtyard

$125 per hour/2 hour minimum
(Member Rate/$112.50 per hour)
(Price does not include Museum admission.
If event is held during regular Museum hours, group rates for guests are available.) The Museum courtyard is perfect for a casual reception or ceremony for up to 250 guests. With access to the South Wing, this option provides flexibility for an outdoor/ indoor event.

The South Wing
$75 per hour/2 hour minimum
(Member Rate/$67.50 per hour)
(Price does not include Museum admission.)
If event is held during regular Museum hours, group rates are available.
For a business meeting or small party,the Museum’s South Wing is versatile andbcomfortable. There are two separate party rooms, the Fiesta Room and the Birthday Party Room and a galley kitchen with refrigerator and freezer.
*The Performance Hall can be used as a substitute, depending on availability.

Children’s Activities
$50 per activity/40 children
(Additional charge per child for larger groups)
Let us help you with hands-on fun! Our Museum Gallery staff will happily facilitate the activity that you choose. Available activities include face painting, glow in the dark slime, tambourine parade, animal masks and dino dig craft.
Favor Bags
$4 per bag
Gifts are made easy with fun favor bags available at Toyastorus, the Museum gift store. Remember, TCM members receive a discount on their Toyastorus purchases.
 Morris the Explorasaurus Mascot
$25 per 15 minute visit

2 week notice required
Enjoy a visit from TCM’s mascot, Morris the Explorasaurus! Our blue dino of fun would love to visit your guests during your event. Make all the kids at your gathering smile with delight and help out the TCM Youth Board too!
